Delta restarts Dublin-Atlanta seasonal service

Delta Air Lines will restart its seasonal nonstop flight between Dublin International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, effective March 30, 2015. The daily flight will complement Delta’s existing daily nonstop service between Dublin and New York-JFK, significantly increasing travel choices for customers flying between the Republic of Ireland and the United States.
Delta’s seasonal Atlanta service will be operated in conjunction with joint venture partner, Air France-KLM and Delta will fly a 225-seat Boeing 767-300 aircraft on the route.  Customers flying to Atlanta will benefit from more than 200 onward connections to destinations throughout the United States and beyond including the popular cities of Los Angeles, Orlando and Miami as well as Cancun, Mexico.
“With daily services to both Atlanta and New York-JFK, this summer, Delta will be offering more than 6,300 weekly seats between Ireland and the United States,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “Last year was one of the highest-ever for U.S. visitor numbers to Ireland and with around 70% of American tourists arriving between May and September, our Atlanta flight responds to this spike in demand, supporting the local tourism industry while also providing greater choice for customers flying to the U.S.”
