JEDDAH, April 1 (KUNA) -- Flights to and from Najran Domestic Airport, southwest Saudi Arabia, resumed late Tuesday night, several hours after the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced a temporary moratorium.
The suspension announced in the morning was a precautionary measure meant to ensure the safety of passengers amid the Saudi-led air campaign on Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The GACA has informed the national carrier - Saudia, and other airlines that they can resume flights to and from the airport. (end) nh.gb
