Hotel Arctic was built to accommodate passengers coming in to Greenland when the airport was built in 1984. For the most part, the hotel is considered to be the most northerly 4-star hotel in the world as well as a 5 star conference center. It has a lot of rooms to choose from and a few igloo rooms with stunning scenery of the town of Ilulissat, Ice bank or the Disko Bay. The igloo rooms on the other hand are only open during summer months starting from May to September. It also has a restaurant, named Ulo that serves Greenland Cuisine if you’d like to have a taste of their food.

Considered as the “Green paradise of Greenland”, Narsaq’s water is very abundant with sea creatures such as seals, minke whales, salmon and arctic char. Not to mention it’s a rock collectors’ paradise with all the rich minerals found in Narsaq. Indeed it would be a big mistake if you wouldn’t visit this heaven like place.
