Plan your trip ahead, because you will need to apply online for a permit. This practice prevents from the crowds. If you choose the Mist Trail Route, you will pass the beautiful Nevada Falls on your way.
The hike approximately takes 12 hours to reach the top, so have enough food and water. Or prepare camping and continue the next day. The trail is quite difficult, therefore comfortable footwear is a must. The cables to the rock are up from May to October. So this might be the best time to visit.
