Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes. In 2008 Albula Railway and the Bernina Railway, that are part of the Rhaetian Railway, were included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The route in the Swiss Alps offers definitely one of the most beautiful trips possible.
It passes mountains, bridges, tunnels – the passengers can enjoy gorgeous landscapes during the ride. The Albula Tunnel is the highest one in the country. The train reaches the highest point of 2,253 m along the Bernina route.

Albula Railway is 62 km long, Bernina – 1,000 mm. Both lines connect Switzerland with Italy.

Anytime: the nature is beautiful in summer, as well as winter.
How to get there?
Albula links Thusis on the Hinterrhein with St. Moritz spa resort in Engadine. From here Bernina Express takes off to Davos or Tirano, Italy.
