The Eiffel Tower, Paris, France. Erected in the 1889 to present the World’s Fair, the iron tower initially received a lot of criticism. Nevertheless it has become a signature landmark of Paris and the most recognizable building in the world. It is also one of the most popular attractions in the world: by 2010 it was visited by 250 million tourists. Approximately 7 million visitors ascend it every year.
Eiffel is 324 m (1,063 ft) tall and is divided into three levels, where the viewpoints are installed. The incredible panoramic views from the third floor open. There you can admire the city of love sprawled far to the horizon. Also there is a restored Gustave Eiffel’s office, which features wax models and other memorabilia.

The most famous tower in the world, which provides the best Paris panorama.
When to go there?
All year round.
How to get there?
The tower is situated in the Champ de Mars and has easy access from various parts of the city. Get there by metro using line 6 or 9, bus or boat.
