The Raja Ampat Islands – Indonesia

The Raja Ampat Islands are a truly lovely paradise which is located off the northwest tip of of New Guinea, in Indonesia’sWest Papua province. Raja Ampat which means ‘the Four Kings’, is an archipelago made up of over 1,500 small islands. This lonely Raja Ampat Islands is a wonder that is naturally originated with amazing and numerous numbers of biological diversity. This place is also said to be as blue and green world in the centre of the area. Four stunningly gorgeous islands surrounding the place. Those islands named as Waigeo, Misool, Salawari and Balanta. The Raja Ampat is the heaven inPapua, the most colourful place in Indonesia.

You can also do the underwater photography in this amazing landscape ocean. Besides this you can also just have beautiful natural beautiful views. You can do lot of things, such as diving, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, tracking and see the views of the waterfall around it.

You can also visit the Tolomol Cave in the area. You can find the greatness of the nature on the caves. Here, you can see the painting of the human palms and the picture of the giant animals that were drawn by the ancient human. On the north side of the Waigeo Island, you can also see the heritage of the World War II. There are several local villages around the area where you can visit. You will be able to catch some beautiful waterfall and ancient caves that haven’t been touch by the activity of human life.

To visit, you can get to Raja Ampat by flying to Sorong via Jakarta or Singapore. National travellers can also fly viaMakassar or Manado. From Sorong, you can also catch speed ferries to the four major islands in the area.
