Dunraven Bay, South Glamorgan, Wales, UK. Found in the village of Southerndown, the beach is one of the most famous attractions in the area. Designated as a Heritage Coast site, Dunraven Bay boasts sedimentary rocks that form terraces and pools on a low tide. The beach has also featured on various films and TV shows, since it provides a truly cinematic views.
The cliffs feature a scenic route just on the edge, thus promising some of the most spectacular panoramic views on the coast. Tourists can either drive or hike it; those on foot can also descend to the beach and approach the dramatic coast from below. The Glamorgan Coastal Path also passes by other popular attractions like the ruins and gardens of Dunraven Castle.

Amazing views and facilities attract crowds here. Besides paths and natural wonders, there are a few pubs where one can enjoy refreshments. There is also a car park, where you can leave your vehicle and hit the route on foot.

The most popular season is of course summer. However, winter creates a rough and dramatic, but nonetheless spectacular landscape.
How to get there?
By car using Bridgend CF32 road. There is a car park right next to the beach. Also you can travel around Wales by bus.
