1. Pangong Lake, Ladakh

5. Udaipur, India

7. Hogenakkal falls
Hogenakkal, is derived from from two Kannada words which together means ”smoking rocks”. Of course, there is no sight of fire or its element over here but the gushing water of the river Cauvery (Kaveri) with its great force creates the smoke which seems to emanate from top of the rocks.

12. Nubra Valley

13. Loktak lake
Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in North -East India is famous for the phumdis (heterogeneous mass of vegetation, soil, and organic matters at various stages of decomposition) floating over it. Keibul Lamjao the only floating national park in the world floats over it.It is located near Moirang in Manipur state, India.

14. Nandi Hills
Nandi Hills is the city’s very own hill-station. Located at a height of 1455 metres above sea level, the serene environment and bracing air saw Tipu Sultan as well as the British use it as a summer retreat.

16.  Living Root bridges of Meghalaya
Meghalaya’s double-decker and single-decker root bridges are unique in the world and are a sight to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which have been intermingled to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time.

17.  Chadar-The frozen river
Chadar trek is a winter trek  that starts in Leh and then involves trekking over the frozen Zanskar River. That sounds a bit tame, though – a bit like ice skating, right! Apparently not at all. The Zanskar River is fierce and flows through beautiful but scary cliffs that get completely slicked with ice in the winter. Trekking over the frozen river guarantees that you will slip and fall multiple times, and you’ll have to scale the cliffs; sometimes you’ve to make your way through freezing but not frozen water.

18. Key Monastery, Ladakh
Kye Gompa or Key Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level.
The walls of the monastery are covered with paintings and murals, an example of the 14th century monastic architecture, which developed as the result of Chinese influence. Kye monastery has a collection of ancient murals and books, including Buddha images.

19.  Nohkalikai, Meghalaya
Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India with a steep fall of 1115 feet (340 metres). The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of comparatively small plateau.

20.  STOK, Ladakh
At 11, 845 feet, Stok Kangri in Stok Range has is a popular mountain among climbers and mountaineers. It’s often considered as a practice run for Everest.

21.  Manali, Himachal Pradesh
Manali is a hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) in the Beas River Valley offers spectacular view of snow clad mountains with greenery all around and river gushing water on the rocks.
