Québec City: A Little Piece of Paris in North America

Québec City is located 250 kilometers east of Montréal and about 850 kilometers north of New York City. Founded by French explorer Samuel de Champlain more than 400 years ago,Quebec City, like Montreal, fell to the British crown a century and a half later.

Today, Quebec is the only fortified city in North America. It's also the most photographed landmark and the one that is the most identified with Quebec City.
