MAGNIFICENT LAKES: PEYTO LAKE IN BANFF NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA Lakes, National Parks, Natural Attractions, North America

Peyto Lake is situated in the Banff National Park in Canada. Peyto Lake is a beautiful lake situated on the ice-fields Parkway. It is about 40 kilometers north of Lake Louise town. The access to this magnificent lake’s viewing area is directly off the parkway. The Peyto Lake is situated in a junction of valleys which are surrounded by majestic mountains and rich lush forests. This view is without doubt the best in Canada. This lake system is fed by the Peyto Glacier, which is to the left of the lake’s view point. It also offers the lake its wonderful blue color especially during summers because of the mineral content.
