The Pearl waterfalls
This waterfall is one of the most visited places in the Sichuan Province of China. This beautiful and huge 162.5 meter wide curtain type waterfall drops 40meters down. The waterfall is located at a height of 2433 meters and has a special walk way to walk towards the waterfall. Every year thousands of global tourists are coming to get mesmerized by the beauty of this wonderful waterfall.
The Jiuzhaigou Valley
This beautiful Pearl waterfall is situated in the beautiful Jiuzhaigou valley, which is very well known for its natural beauty. Stretching over 600 sq km in the northern part of Sichuan Province, the jagged peaks around Jiuzhaigou Valley reach heights of more than 4,800 m. In the valley there is a series of diverse forest ecosystems. The valley itself is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO in the year 1992. The valley is famous for its magnificent landscapes, snowcapped mountains, waterfalls, national park, 108 beautiful and unique lakes, nine villages, variety of flora and fauna, etc make this place one of the most beautiful places to visit. The valley is like a dream picture and a wonderful piece of art made by god himself.
How to get to the Pearl Waterfall ?
Jiuzhaigou Jiuhuan Airport is just 88 kilometer from the Jiuzhaigou Valley. This airport is a domestic airport, the closest international airport at Chengdu and it takes about 40 minutes to fly from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. Once you reach the airport it takes about 1/2 hour to drive down to the valley. Once you reach the valley you need to take a special walk way that will lead you to the Pearl Waterfall.
