MOUNTAIN HIKING AT MOUNT HUASHAN, CHINA

Location
Mount Huashan is located in the Shaanxi Province, about 120 kilometers east of the city of Xian, near Huayin, China. It is also a part of the Qin Ling Mountain Range which divides not only northern and southern Shaanxi, but also China. Mt. Huashan is considered as a holy mountain of Taoism. It is said that Lao Zi (Lao Tzu), the founder and patriarch of Taoism, used to live and gave sermons here. Today many Taoism temples are also located on Mr. Huashan which helps explain why this is a much-visited area.
Dangers 
Though it is difficult to mention the exact number of fatal incidents took place at the Mount Huashan, but it will be safe to take necessary steps regarding the accidents that may occur during hiking the Mount Huashan. The entire path is full of danger, risk and adventure.You would be literally walking along a thin line between life and death.

The mountain possess five peaks, namely East Peak (about 2,090 meters from the sea level); Middle Peak; West Peak (about 2,087 meters from the sea level), North Peak (about 1,614 meters from the sea level), and South Peak (about 2,160 meters from the sea level). Among these peaks South Peak is the highest and most difficult to climb.
