Location
Yosemite National Park is located in the northeastern side of Maripose County, California, at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley.
Geology

This concept is totally a myth. Only from the Glacier or Washburn Point, this dome can be seen as a long narrow range of hills, oriented northeast to southwest, with its southeast side as steep as northeast side.

The Half Dome’s Cable route hiking runs from the floor of the valley to the top of the dome in 8.2miles(13km). Total natural elevation of the entire journey is 4,800ft (1,460m). Best time for hiking
Summer is considered as the ideal time for hiking the Half Dome’s Cable Route, Yosemite National Park.
