The Tulips of the Valley Festival is held every year in Agassiz, British Columbia, a small community in the East Fraser Valley region, offering the chance to take in the scents, sights and sounds of a working tulip farm against the backdrop of gorgeous mountain scenery.

Wisteria Tunnel, Japan

This pastel-colored passageway of wisteria flowers at the Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu in Japan is absolutely mind blowing. A member of the pea family, wisteria is an ornamental vine, wildly popular in both Eastern and Western gardens for its graceful hanging flowers and its ornate, winding branches. The best time to see it is from late April to mid May.

Lavender Field, Sequim, Washington

Beginning on Friday on the third weekend in July, thousands of people arrive to celebrate the lavender at the three day annual Sequim Lavender Festival.
