Though it is not so huge compared to the other famous big aquariums in the world, it is famous for its unique design. The cylindrical dome shaped aquarium is situated inside the Radisson Hotel, Berlin. Its height is 25 meters and diameter is 11 meters. It contains 1 million liters of water and houses over 2,600 species inside it. You can take the elevator which is constructed in the centre of the dome and enjoy looking at the fish through the glass. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy the complete view of it.

This aquarium is a home to over 3000 species of fish and other aquatic species. Containing 1 million gallons of water, it is one of the biggest aquariums in the world. The fish in this aquarium are divided into different zones, depending upon their origin. The zones are named as China Zone, Australia Zone etc. There are also a lot of endangered species in this aquarium which are taken care of by the authorities. This themed aquarium and park which is located in Durban is the largest aquarium in South Africa. It has 32 tanks in total, which has fish like dolphins, sharks and other exotic breeds. The aquarium resembles a wreck under the sea and the most amazing attraction at this park is the dolphin show where the trained fish show different acts with the purpose of entertaining the audience. Opened in 2009, Turkey’s Turkuazoo is constructed inside the Forum Istanbul Shopping mall. It contains an 80 meter long tunnel and also a rainforest habitat. This is not enough as it also contains a flooded wetland habitat for the visitors to experience the most from the entire aquarium setup. There are over 10,000 species living in his beautiful aquarium which contains 1.32 million gallons of water. 5Monterey Bay Aquarium, California
Located on Cannery road in Monterey, California, this aquarium contains two large tanks with the capacity of 1.2 million gallons of water each. One of these tanks is also the largest single paned windows on earth, because of its massively big display glass. The aquarium houses exotic fish, Stingrays, Exotic turtles and also some of the most beautiful corals and aquatic plants. It is one of the favorite destinations for kids as well as adults. 4Aquarium – Okinawa Churaumi
This aquarium is located at the Ocean Expo and features an exhibit known as the Kuroshio Sea. Released in 2002, this setup contains two million-gallons of water which is a home to whale sharks and manta rays. 2Dubai Mall Aquarium
When it comes to making a list of places housing best things in the world, Dubai has to be counted. The Dubai Mall, famous for its brand stores also contains one of the largest aquariums on the planet. It is a 2.64 million gallon tank which houses more than 33,000 types of fish. These fish can be seen through the world’s largest acrylic glass panel, which now broke the records of Okinawa aquarium. Out of the 33,000 fish, 400 are just sharks and stingrays.
