Breathtaking Earthscapes That’ll Make You Appreciate Life

This gorgeous bicycle with a view in the French countryside, watches the sun setting on a rural farm outside of Chartres, one of the towns that hosted the time trial for the Tour de France in the Summer of 2012

This epic picture was taken at the Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii as the lava flow entered the sea.
When asked about the photo, photographer Brian Harig said “Unquestionably one of the best moments of my life. Seeing land being formed right before your eyes is an event never to be forgotten.”

A stunning sunset overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina on a gorgeous summer evening. The southern Appalachian Mountains have such amazing scenery to take in, and these scenic landscapes are even more incredible at sunrise and sunset

Taking a boat from Fontana Dam over to the landing where we started our hike to the ghost town of Proctor.
This image was taken on Hazel Creek in North Carolina. It wonderfully shows the full spectrum of autumn color reflected in the clear fresh water of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This Dirt road canopied under a massive tunnel of Oak trees is the entrance to Botany Bay Plantation on Edisto Island, As well as the entrance to my heart. I could only imagine the peaceful sound of the trees blowing in the wind the birds chirping away with their love songs.
