SKAFTAFELL, ICELAND: THE LARGEST NATIONAL PARK OF EUROPE

 the  largest national park of Europe  known as the Skaftafell National Park that comprises total area of approximately 5000 square feet. Nature, here at the Skaftafell national park makes it very famous. The National park includes one of Iceland’s former National Monument Laki. Laki is a volcanic mountain with a glacial cap. The other most beautiful scenes of the national park include the beautiful forest standing between the white glaciers and the black sandy beaches. The national park is very famous for its birds and arctic wolfs. The blessed natural flora and fauna make Skaftafell National Park one of the most beautiful places to visit it Europe. Things to do at Skaftafell:
•    Hiking and campaign two of the most famous adventurous sports at the national park. There are a number of hiking trails on route one inside Skaftafel.
•    You can take guided walking tours at the national park to understand the location and is history better.
•    Bus tour is also offered to the visitors by the national park to see the volcanic Laki area and the Jokulsarlon.
Must see at the national park:
•    You must see the Jokulsarlon, the place of the volcanic eruption at the national park.
•    Svartifoss waterfall is very famous here because of the color of the water. Svartifoss is also known as the black waterfall and is very famous among visitors for its color.
How to reach the national park: 
As you come from the east drive on road 1that leads towards the town of Hofn, continue driving for about 130km to reach the Skaftafell National Park.
