Are you looking for new Asian vacation destinations? Wanna hangout with your loved ones in the calm beaches? We have the perfect place for you, The Samal Islands. Samal Island is located in the Davao Gulf, directly across from Davao City, Philippines. Until the past fifteen years, the island was very sparsely populated, but has recently boomed as many have moved onto the island to escape the hustle and bustle of every day city life. This is a perfect hideout for you from your daily routine life.
The main city on the island is the Island Garden City of Samal (often abbreviated into ICaCoS), and the main barangay (neighborhood) is Babak, facing Davao City and the location of transportation on and off the island.Samal is an un-urbanized haven. Exotic, tranquil and absolutely serene are ways in which to describe its white sand coral beaches, natural mangroves, lush mango and coconut trees, and beautiful wild flowers which dot the landscape.
