Qatar Airways will introduce a second Airbus A380 aircraft on the London Heathrow to Doha route from July 1st 2015.
It will replace the current A330 aircraft which operates the sector.
The arrival of the second A380 on the Doha-to-London service reinforces Qatar Airways’ presence in the United Kingdom, with six flights a day between the two cities in addition to daily direct services from Doha to Edinburgh from May and double daily services to Manchester.
Flight QR002 will depart Heathrow at 21:30 and arrive in Doha 06:10 the following morning.
Flight QR001 departs Doha at 12:35 and arrives at London Heathrow at 17:55 the same day.

Featuring a tri-class configuration of First, Business and Economy Class seating over two decks, the Qatar Airways A380 is designed to offer the airline’s signature five-star service with outstanding in-flight entertainment and service on board.
There are a total of 517 seats, with eight in First Class, 48 in Business Class and 461 seats in Economy Class.
Qatar Airways UK & Ireland Country Manager, Richard Oliver, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a second A380 service from London Heathrow to Doha in response to an increase in demand from our passengers.
“Offering two convenient departure times from London Heathrow on the A380 will increase both choice and convenience.
