Replacing the former Kai Tak Airport, HKIA started its journey in the year 1998 and within just ten years this airport has earned 7 Skytrax Award for Customer Satisfaction. In the last two years this airport has also earned 2nd and 3rd rank respectively for World Airport Awards awarded by Skytrax.
