The Glacier National Park is situated in the state of Montana,USA. It is closely situated in the south near the Canadian borders of Alberta and the British Columbia. This national Park was earlier inhabited by the Native Americans and became the Glacier national Park on arrival of the European explorers. The park was then dominated by the Flathead in the western region and the Blackfeet in the east.
This park was established in the year 1910 on the 11th of May. Along with its establishment the Great Northern Railway constructed various chalets and hotels which stand even today. They are now designated as National Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks.
