GARHWAL OF UTTARAKHAND, INDIA – MYSTICAL VALLEY OF HIMALAYAS

Situated high in the greater Himalayan ranges is the mystic Himalayan valley of flowers, Garhwal. This internally enchanting Valley, Garhwal is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Garhwal is a mystifying valley which is hidden from the outside world and mostly only locals knows about this mystical place. Legend goes that long before in time the shepherds avoided going here as they believed that this magical valley was a celestial playground of the Gods, fairies and nymphs.
This beautiful valley was accidentally discovered by a mountaineer, botanist and an explorer named Frank Smith in the years 1931. The valley is simply captivating when it is in its full bloom. this is emerging as one of the top holiday destinations of Uttarakhand.
