Biman Bangladesh Airlines (Dhaka), the national flag carrier airline of Bangladesh, is becoming a new Bombardier Q400 operator. The airline has confirmed it has signed an agreement withSmart Aviation Company (Cairo, Egypt) for the lease of two Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops.
While Biman’s main hub is located at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, it also operates flights from its secondary hubs at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong and Osmani International Airport in Sylhet (see map below).
