You can only see ruins in some, whereas some possess thick cracks from the latest earthquake, but several monks and pilgrims still pray everyday. To have a magnificent view, one must visit early in the morning when everything is still in sleep.

The landscape around is mesmerizing with the limestone cone and peaks shrouded with mist which rise from the ground abruptly, pierce rivers, rice fields and meadows. One thing which just makes each and every tourist fall in love with this place is the river cruise on the Li River.  Especially in the early morning, it is worth visiting and indeed magnificent as the mist hovers over the water and you feel like being in a fairy tale.

Varanasi is among the oldest cities of India and is considered to be the holiest city in Hinduism. According to the Indian census of 2011, Varanasi inhabits 1,201,815 people in total. There are approximately 100 burning and bathing places (ghats), Varanasi has near about 200 important Hindu, Buddhist and Jain temples- Durga Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Annapurna Temple, Tulsi Manas temple are some of them. The heart of the city holds the cremation ground. The corpses wrapped in orange clothes burn throughout the day, waiting for the final journey….


4HUNZA VALLEY, PAKISTAN

Situated in the barren high ranges of the Karakoram mountains, Hunza valley is a lush green oasis. Down in the valley of the wild mountains, the grayish-blue Hunza river flows into the sandy bottom. At the top of the village of Karimabad, there are apricot trees blooming around, avenues of poplars and birch lined with the terraced fields that have come from the nature. Hunza is also known as the “role model” for Pakistan for its high literacy rate. The enrollment figures in the schools are very high.

The inhabitants of this mountain village are now accustomed to business-minds and tourism. Nonetheless, Sapa still is an extraordinary place – as many of the Vietnamese are mountain rice people: In the steep mountain slopes, they beat narrow layers of rice terraces slice by slice which stretch for miles in all the four directions.

One can still experience the mysticism and peace, in 1860 the researchers must have discovered the largest temple complex in the world. And in addition to the marvel, there are plenty : Along with the main temple, the most popular temples are Bayon temple, which is several meters high and is carved in a stone or the Ta Prohm that is almost found as original as left by the French people.

The myth of the Silk Road still continues to be in existence: in the ancient town of Kashgar, with its hawkers, winding streets, proud Uygurs and donkey carts which is provided by the majority of the population. But above all is the early mornings of Sunday market on the legendary Sunday market where thousands of farmers meet here with their carriages to the exotic marketplace in the world.
