Most Beautiful Lighthouses That Have Stood The Test Of Time

Cape Elizabeth is the home of Portland Head Light. Situated along the spectacular shores of Fort Williams Park, at 1000 Shore Road, the popular landmark is owned and managed by the Town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

The Kenosha North Pier lighthouse is a typical Lake Michigan red tower. The Kenosha North Pier Lighthouse (first constructed in 1906) is one of a succession of lighthouses at this location.

Marshall Point Lighthouse, Port Clyde, Maine – station established 1832. This lighthouse was built in 1857 and was automated in 1971.
5. Quoddy Head At Sunrise

The distinctive red and white striped West Quoddy Head Lighthouse stands watch just after sunrise at the eastern most point in the US in Downeast Maine along a region known as the Bold Coast. A rocky shoreline and pastel pink clouds are illuminated by the rising sun as the clouds fan out above the lighthouse.

Oregon Central Coast, near the mouth of the Yaquina River, you will find Oregon’s tallest lighthouse. At 93 feet high on top of a narrow point of land, the light can be seen 20 miles away.
