American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) 57-year old pilot Captain Michael Johnston tragically passed away while flying flight AA 550 from Phoenix to Boston yesterday morning (October 5). The first officer safely landed the aircraft in Syracuse with 147 passengers on board.
