1.) La Concha Beach, San Sebastian, Spain: I’ve already told you how amazing this place isbut it gets even more so in summer when the sun’s out and everyone makes a beeline for the beach. It’s one of the prettiest places I’ve visited in Spain and I’m pretty sure you’ll find that is truly the case when you visit!
2.) Porthmeor Beach, UK: Cornwall is one of the warmest places you can visit in the UK (for non-Brits, it’s located down south in the UK) and is renowned for it’s amazing beaches of which Porthmeor Beach is one the best on offer here. If you plan on visiting the UK this summer (or indeed if you already live in the UK), you should definitely make the effort to pop down here, even if just for a couple of days.
3.) Makarska Beach, Croatia: This beach town in Croatia is a popular holiday destination in Croatia and rightly so! On our visit to Makarska, the day started off cloudy and despite this, we were still taken aback by how pretty it was. An hour into our time in Makarska, the sun came out and Makarska surpassed all our expectation on how pretty it is! (This reminds me that I need to share all those photos from that trip in full with you! That’ll be coming up soon on the blog.)
4.) Eggremni Beach, Greece: Beautifully clear blue water, nice fine sands… It’s safe to say that you’ll have to struggle to say no to visiting this amazing Greek gem!
5.) Cala Conta, Ibiza, Spain: This beach had us all sold on Ibiza the minute we laid eyes on it! We were already getting sold on the idea that Ibiza was so much more than a party destination and this beach pretty much sealed the deal! Its clear blue waters go on for miles and it’s absolutely stunning – and refreshing to dip into in that summer heat!
6.) Nissi Beach, Cyprus: This is another blue flag beach and a rather popular destination for traveller looking to visit Cyprus.
7.) Rabbit Beach, Italy: This is a favourite – not just in Italy but all across Europe and constantly makes it to the list of top beaches to visit in Europe. These pictures will explain why this is the case.
8.) Elafonissi Beach, Greece: Not only is the island quite an interesting place to visit (it’s a protected nature reserve) then there’s this amazing beach with pink sands that stretches for ages….
9.) Navagio Beach, Zakynthos, Greece: “Another Greek one?” I hear you ask but there’s a reason why – Greece has amazing beaches and this beach is one of Greece’s best! You probably recognise it from Pinterest (or perhaps even instagram) but the popularity of this beach has just grown from strength to strength and rightly so as it’s one of the most stunning beach available, not only in Greece but all across Europe!
10.) Zlatni Rat Beach, Croatia: If you every find yourself in Split in Croatia, in addition to a trip to Solta Island, you should definitely take the time to visit Brač island! The island itself has many reasons to visit but Zlatni Rat Beach find itself amongst the top reasons to visit Brač island. The beach is a favourite for visitors to the island and is absolutely magnificent!
11.) Tresaith Beach, UK: This is one of those lovely beaches where you can spend the afternoon playing around in the sun, sea and sand and head up later on for good old fashioned fish and chips with a side of your favourite local brew!
