Unspoiled Nature and Snowy Peaks in The Teton Range, USA

The Teton Range, Wyoming, USA. Part of the Rocky Mountains, the Teton mountain range, bordering with the state of Idaho, provides some spectacular views indeed. It features numerous tall peaks, of which the tallest one, at 4 200 m (13 770 ft) high, is Grand Teton. Melting ice from these summits fills crystal clear alpine lakes, that complement a gorgeous landscape.
The most unique thing about these mountains is the lack of foothills – the gradual increments, that cover up the mountains. While in Teton one can admire the summits from the downhill to the peak. Meanwhile the snowy and slightly bluish range is surrounded with lush greenery and meadows, that get covered in colorful wildflowers in spring and summer.
Why to go there?
Explore beautiful unspoiled nature in the park. The site also provides numerous activities: from hiking, climbing, horseback riding to boating, fishing, camping and even more.
When to go there?
All year round. In summer there are more activities, packages and tours offered though.
How to get there?
It is only 20 km (12 mi) from Jackson. Get there by car or bus.
