Meeting of Two Rivers Rhone and Arve in Geneva, Switzerland

One of the major rivers in Europe, the Rhone stems from the enormous ocean-like Lake Lehman in Switzerland and runs through southeastern France, a dark, steady flow. On the other hand, flowing with water coming from glaciers of the Chamonix valley, light brown and muddy from its high levels of silt is the Arve River.
