Hello from Sri Lanka! I am writing this from our hotel room in Colombo with a serious jet-lag problem. I have now been awake for 27 hours and I really should get to bed. The trouble is, it is only 21:30 here which means, if I go to bed now, I will wake up way too early. So I thought I would write this short post instead. I am quite dizzy so please forgive me if my spelling is all over the place.

I digress.

As I mentioned above, we are now in Colombo. We will be here for 3 days before we head off south to Galle. Which brings me to today’s image. I briefly visited Galle when I was in Sri Lanka last November. I instantly fell in love with the place and knew it would be a great place to base ourselves when we returned. The beach above captures Galle perfectly to me; rugged natural charm. I was only in Galle for about an hour so I don’t have many photos of the place. That will change on our return.

I am now seeing double and it took me an age to find the link icon so I think I better call it a night. My body is telling me, enough is enough.
