The Supernatural Site – Quirang on the Isle of Skye, Scotland

The Supernatural Site – Quirang on the Isle of Skye, Scotland
Quirang, Trotternish Ridge, Isle of Skye, Scotland. The most northerly and largest island in Scotland is famous for its striking landscapes, old castles and natural wonders. The Quirang – a landslip – is one of them. The landslide is still moving, thus constantly destructing the road.
The surface of the Quirang varies from the flat valleys to the steep pinnacles and cliffs. The area is said to be supernatural: it indeed amazes one greatly, who stands above the Quirang, approaching its dramatic scenery. The site is a must see once on the Isle of Skye.
Why to go there?
One of the most breathtaking places in Scotland.
When to go there?
Anytime, although May is the brightest month of the year.
How to get there?
Start a hike from a parking area at Bealach Ollasgairte, which lies near the Staffin-Uig road.
