Ramona Falls – a Wonderful Unfolding Stream in Oregon, USA
Ramona Falls, Oregon, USA. Found in the Mount Hood Wilderness, which is famous for the eponymous peak, the falls is a truly wonderful phenomena. The plunge unfolds into tens of smaller streams and cascades down the hexagonal basalt columns – a result of a lava flow.
The area has more popular landmarks, including Mount Hood – the highest summit in whole Oregon. There are two trails that lead to the falls and feature picturesque landscapes. People come here on a day trip or for a longer time – backpackers are allowed to camp in the park.

When to go there?
In summer.
How to get there?
Drive to the reserve from Portland taking the Highway 26.
