The Southern Pacific islands of Fiji offer some of the most splendid sights, scents, and sounds. Many travelers go there to escape their hectic lifestyles. Its tropical jungles, white sand beaches, clear blue waters, peaceful villages, and friendly people all make the trip worthwhile. Of course, any trip wouldn’t be complete without seeing a place’s top attractions. In Fiji Islands, three of its best tourist spots are the Bouma National Heritage Park, Garden of the Sleeping Giant, and Levuka.
The Bouma National Heritage Park is in Taveuni or what locals call the Garden Island of Fiji. It’s a great venue for nature lovers but romantic couples also frequent the place. It covers more than 150 square meters of rainforest, coastal area, and trails that start at Lavena village just 6 kilometers south of the park’s entry point. The trails lead to three stunning waterfalls called the Tavoro Falls. Each of them has its own natural pool.

The heritage park comprises of four villages. Each village has its own unique eco-attraction. Among the ecological attractions in Bouma National Heritage Park is a marine park, a rainforest hike leading to ancient ruins on the hills, and an attractive coast with kayaking, scuba diving, and other things to do.
To truly experience the local culture, you should go to Levuka. It is the first European-style town in Fiji. It is not widely popular among tourists but in recent years, it is increasingly being sought after. Today, it is one of the top reasons to visit Fiji.
Like most of the islands, Levuka offers peaceful respite to its guests. Three of its highlights include Silana Village, the Lost Island, and Leluvia Island. Silana Village is a place where you can stay and has a homey feel to it. Activities near the area include swimming, hiking, and fishing.

And finally, the third best tourist spot in Fiji is the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. Raymond Burr, a famous Canadian actor, founded it during the 20th century. More than 2,000 varieties of orchids thrive in the island, taking up more than 20 hectares of land on the foothills of Nausori Highlands. Here you can enjoy hours of quiet and relaxation in the garden. Compared to Bouma National Heritage Park, the garden offers a more convenient way of exploring local sceneries.
Previously mentioned attractions aren’t the only tourist spots in Fiji. They are simply the best that the island has to offer. Having said that, you still have plenty to do and see during your Fiji trip and they’re just waiting to be discovered.
