Bufadero de la Garita – a Unique Water Vortex in Spain

Bufadero de la Garita, Telde, Gran Canaria, Spain. Gran Canaria is one of the most popular islands of Spanish archipelago. Its volcanic origin determines its rocky and basalt surface. It also causes a unique water vortex phenomenon found next to the El Hombre Beach.
There are hollow prismatic basalt formations, that get inundated with water. As a result, not only it creates an illusion of absorbing water, but it sprays an exciting high fountain after. The site is called after a unique sound of snorting, created by these cavities sucking water.
Why to go there?
See this authentic natural wonder while on a nice vacation in Gran Canaria. But be careful and do not go too close to the pit.

All year round.
How to get there?
By bus get to Telde and from here get another bus or catch a taxi that will take you right to the spot.
