World’s Shortest Commercial Flight is Just 47 Seconds

The shortest commercial flight in the world last no longer than 47 seconds, we bet there is no need for in-flight service and entertainment. The 47 seconds flight takes place between the two Orkney islands, Westerly and Papa Westerly just at the north of Scotland. Logonair is the operator on the 2,7 KM (1.7 miles) long journey and is flying on this route since 1960s a couple of times a week.
The official flight time is around 2 minutes, but with ideal weather conditions it’s 47 seconds.
