Guadalupe State Park, Texas | Located only a short drive north of San Antonio, Guadalupe State Park is calm, unexpectedly green and one of the best places in the country to see old Cypress Trees. Named after the Guadalupe River, which extends four miles through the park, visitors can take advantage of excellent canoeing, fishing and swimming. A five mile equestrian trail also runs through the park-a perfect way to take in the unique foliage and diverse trees.
