Badlands National Park, South Dakota  | Chiseled by thousands of years of sand, wind and water erosion, the magnificent canyons of Badlands National Park are one of America’s most captivating, if underrated, landscapes. Spanning a distance of 244,000 acres, the Badlands are home to a diverse array of wildlife, including bison, bighorn sheep, antelope and many others. Camping is available at Cedar Pass Campground and Sage Creek Campground and the park is crisscrossed with trails for all hiking abilities.
