Valle de la Muerte, Chile | Chile’s Death Valley is a remote, rocky landscape found in Los Flamencos National Reserve. You’ll access the park from a village called San Pedro de Atacama and then your adventure begins. The rocky, sandy landscape is so dry that dead plants and animals don’t have enough moisture to decompose. Be sure to bring your own water and then sit back for an impressively colorful sunset.
