Ilulissat Icefjord, Greenland | This berg-filled bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its icebergs that are as large as cities. Under the summer sun, you can hear them splash into the water with a resounding crash as they calve and fall. The thick Jakobshavn Glacier stands out amongst the surrounding white landscape, feeding the bay with 20 billion tons of ice every year – making it the most productive iceberg outside of Antarctica.
