Ancient Art of Stone. Naomi Zettl and Andreas Kunert are partners in art and life. They unite their creative energies to make these incredible works of art, that are both – practical and spiritual. Stone is such a rough material, yet it breathes nature and life. Therefore the couple defines their work as sacred, connecting and opening the portals into the human soul.
Artists regard stone with love – it is the most sustainable element and also the oldest one. Therefore it has locked the Earth’s energies within itself. This kind of philosophy is translated to the pieces made by Naomi and Andreas.
You think it’s magic? But just take a look at those walls and prints: it definitely looks very ancient, but you can connect with it on some kind of level. Most of the rocks and blocks are picked from Vancouver Island, where the couple lives. Artists accept both – private and public – commissions. The duo accepts commissions from all over the world, meanwhile they reside in British Columbia, Canada. Some public works like monuments and murals can be found there.
