Perito Moreno, Santa Cruz province, Argentina. The monolithic glacier is the most popular attraction in Argentine Patagonia. The 250 km2 (97 sq mi) growing ice formation is surrounded with detached ice blocks and icebergs, providing a truly spectacular sites.
The whole Los Glaciares National Park’s unspoiled nature is breathtaking. The hiking trails around the glacier and tours on the glacier’s ice will give a big picture of Perito Moreno. The glacier is the third largest reserve of fresh water in the world and is included in UNESCO’s list.

When to go there?
The weather is mild all year round, May to September being slightly colder.
How to get there?
Buses from El Calafate take off daily. The road to Perito Moreno is also very picturesque.
