Myrtos Beach, Kefalonia, Greece. The wonderful place is often regarded as Greece’s most dramatic beach. Its shores, covered in white smooth pebbles, is rinsed by the warm and crystal clear Ionian Sea. Embedded between two mountains – Agia Dynati and Kalon Oros – Myrtos provides an intimate recluse location to relax.
Myrtos has received the best Greek beach award twelve times! Wonderful views from above open, while driving to the beach: just before heading down, the visitors can stop for a moment and admire the panorama. Several tavernas and a beach bar provide vacationers with refreshing drinks and snacks. It is also great setting to view a sunset.

Summer is the peak season here. However the climate is mild all year round in Kefalonia.
How to get there?
By car from Divarata. In summer a bus from Agia Efimia runs to and from the beach.
