I traveled to Puerto Rico in January to experience the San Juan Marriott and get a glimpse of the surrounding area. Puerto Rico had never really popped up on my radar — probably because I grew up on the West Coast of the United States — but I’m always game for tropical islands with stunning beaches no matter how far I have to travel.
Just because Puerto Rico is known by more east coasters doesn’t mean it’s not worth the extra travel time for those of us who don’t live just a hop, skip and a jump away. Ever since I came back from this small island, my friends haven’t been able to get me to shut up about it.
I’m still going through loads of photos from the trip, but I was able to edit a few iPhone shots to share in the meantime. We all know photos can speak a thousand words, so I’ll let the photos do the talking for now — but stay tuned for upcoming detailed posts on Puerto Rico.
