In the deep south of Tasmania (and Dover isAustralia’s most southerly town with a population of 1,000 or more), mother nature dominates. Cool temperature rainforests dominate inland while unspoiled azure blue seas lap the coastline.
Meantime seagulls rest on the rickety character-filled old wharf that bears witness to Dover’s dynamic fishing industry. Farming of salmon, trout, mussels and oysters are combined with harvesting of the pristine southern waters off Tasmania.
