The revised allowance is applicable on all aircraft types including ATR-42. Above allowances will be applicable for Tickets issued on/after 13th May 2013, including reissuance after that date. Tickets issued prior to this date will be honoured as per the baggage allowance mentioned on the tickets.

For Economy passengers with two pieces of luggage, the total combined dimensions (length + breadth + height) of both pieces should not exceed 273cm (107 inches). Also the linear dimension of each piece should not exceed 62 inches.
The weight of each bag must not exceed 23 Kilos or 50 pounds.
Note
1) For passengers traveling to interior points in India, International baggage rule is applicable for transit within 24 hours and when the entire journey is ticketed against a through fare. (Not applicable on Domestic flights operated by ATR, CRJ type of Aircraft)
2) In case of separate tickets being issued for travel to the interior points, the domestic baggage rule is applied for the domestic sector/s.
3) Wherever Free Baggage Allowance mentioned above is different from that of mentioned on ticket, Free baggage allowance mentioned on ticket would apply.
4) Passengers carrying volumetric registered baggage will be charged the higher rate, if the gross/actual weight of the registered baggage is less then the volumetric weight
